Sadly, the narrative that to resolve your issues you only need more self-control, will-power or restraint causes more harm than good.  This is exacerbated by diet culture that also offers a simple solution of ‘eat less and move more’ to what is often a complex problem.

Whilst making changes to our diet can of course support improvements in health and weight loss (if that’s a goal), it is only one piece of the puzzle.

Consider what happens when you embark on a diet.  You give yourself a strict regime of what you can and cannot eat.  Unfortunately, our pesky subconscious mind doesn’t take too kindly to negative instructions.

For example, if I tell you now “DON’T THINK ABOUT A PINK ELEPHANT” and I repeat that request to you a few times, what happens?  You see it too don’t you?

That’s exactly what happens in our mind when we go on a diet.  We exclude all the foods that we love with assumption that self-control will see us through but the more we deny it, the more we desire it.  This can inevitably lead to cracking under the pressure, a binge and then a ton of self-loathing for good measure.

Our associations with food are developed very early in childhood and we can hold very deep attachments to them.  Therefore, in order to overcome our issues with food to create our happiest and healthiest self, we must rewrite the old subconscious beliefs that are keeping us stuck sabotage

Emotional Eater

Emotional eaters find loneliness, boredom and sadness is temporarily soothed through typically sweet or refined foods.  Emotional eaters often eat to get rid of a bad feeling fast.

Unconscious Eater

Unconscious eaters often eat in a chaotic and haphazard way. Eating on the run and often without awareness.  They may have a “see it and eat it” approach to food

Habitual Eater

Habitual eaters often grow up being given certain rules around food i.e. always have dessert after dinner.  They become conditioned to eat whatever is in front of them, without being aware of whether they are hungry or not 

Deprivation Eater

Deprivation eaters often grow up with some sense of lack around food.  Perhaps it was a large family and so if you didn’t get to the table in time, you didn’t get your fair share.  Or perhaps money was limited and so treats were limited.  Now as an adult, with your own source of income, you might find it hard to deny yourself and be making up for lost time.

What is Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)?

Rapid Transformational Therapy is a hybrid therapy that offers fast and achievable results by combining the best of neurolinguistic programming, hypnosis, cognitive behaviour therapy, and psychotherapy. RTT uses hypnosis to access the subconscious mind which will reveal, reprogram and change restricting beliefs with command therapy and positive reinforcement. Results are achieved when the limiting beliefs and unhelpful thinking and behaviour patterns are identified and then treated.

What to expect in a Rapid Transformational Therapy session?

You will be guided into a very relaxed state of hypnosis, in which you are always in control and will remember everything afterwards. In this relaxed state we are able to access your subconscious mind, we will revisit scenes from your life which are driving your current behaviours.

Looking at these scenes, we will give new meaning to them removing any limiting beliefs that you may have formed. After looking at these scenes and working together to understand their meaning we will then give your mind better suggestions, upgrading you with new helpful, supportive and empowering beliefs that are in line with what you want for yourself and your life. You will receive a personalised bespoke audio recording which is essential that you listen to for at least 21 – 28 days.

RTT is not a temporary fix, together we identify and eliminate your old deeply rooted beliefs and through the transformational process we rewire the brain and install new, desired beliefs into your neural pathway at a subconscious level which are positioned permanently.

Go questions about Rapid Transformational Therapy sessions?

Each RTT session will last between 90 mins to 2.5 hours. I will always leave 2.5 hours to ensure there is sufficient time.

Most people can be hypnotised but if this is something that you feel very anxious about, I can provide self-hypnosis audios in advance of our session to get you comfortable with the process.

This is a very commonly asked question from those considering hypnotherapy (thanks mainly to stage hypnotists) but I can assure you that this will not happen.

The truth is that whilst under hypnosis you never lose control and are aware of what is happening throughout. You will never find yourself accepting suggestions are that are not in alignment with your own personal beliefs or values.

 

If you’re interested in booking a RTT package please book a discovery call where we can spend 30 mins discussions your issues and what transformations you would like for yourself.

If you have booked an online session, you will receive a calendar invitation with the Zoom link. You will also receive an email with some tips on how to prepare for a successful session. You will also receive a separate email that has a google doc form to fill out at least 48 hours prior to the session.
Please click on the Zoom link 5-10 minutes before the session to make sure its installed correctly and you are ready to go.

Regression is an invaluable way to discover the root cause of an issue and most clients find this liberating.
You will not re-experience anything, you will simply observe these past events or experiences and talk through the beliefs you established at that age, based on those experiences.
We are only ever with each memory for about 5 mins, and you are in control the whole time. If you wish to move on or not go into the detail of the experience that is completely up to you. We discuss how each memory made you feel at that age, and what belief you established so that I can help you reverse that belief with the recording at the end of the session.

Whilst RTT can be extremely effective with many issues, Eating Disorders are complex and may require longer treatment.
